Overview:
The Mobility Specialist plays a role in organizing secure patient care, emphasizing mobility, alongside fellow healthcare team members. With supervision, this position supports patients in mobility tasks and observes physiological indicators to deliver high-quality customer care.
Responsibilities:
Assists individuals in performing mobility tasks such as moving from bed to chair, shifting position, and walking to help adhere to the care plan and facilitate movement.
Observes and records physiological alterations in patients to inform the nurse and modify activities as needed.
Assists in creating a successful mobility initiative in conjunction with staff from the nursing and therapy divisions.
Conveys issues related to equipment logistics and maintenance to guarantee efficient supply functionality for timely medical attention.
Effectively communicates with patients and their families to deliver information and enhance client contentment.
Carries out additional tasks as required.
