Job Description
In the role of Nursing Technician Float, one must work under direct supervision to support nurses and medical personnel in delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients across various departments and units.
Essential Job Function
- Offer assistance to nurses and healthcare workers in delivering direct patient care, which can include responsibilities such as recording vital signs, procuring samples, and aiding with everyday tasks.
- Maintains a sanitary and safe patient environment by enforcing infection control measures, replenishing supplies, and tidying patient rooms.
- Ensures the accurate and timely documentation of patient information within electronic medical records, covering vital signs, medication application, and observations made on the patient.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to promote effective communication and harmonization of patient care, which includes promptly notifying the appropriate personnel of any changes in the patient's condition.
- Participates actively in ongoing training and development endeavors to refine knowledge and competency in patient care methods and procedures.
- Ensures conformity with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols to uphold regulatory standards and ensure the protection of patients.
- Execute any supplementary assignments provided.
