Job Description

The Occupational Therapist II conducts assessments on patients, devises and coordinates rehabilitation programs, and takes part in initiatives to help individuals regain their optimal functional capacities, enhance their mobility, alleviate pain, enhance their physical strength, and prevent or mitigate deformities resulting from injuries or illnesses. This role requires the practitioner to offer education to patients and their families while demonstrating efficiency in delivering care within their designated clinical environment and showcasing the ability to fulfill occupational therapy duties independently. Moreover, the therapist is expected to serve as a facilitator of communication among the members of interdisciplinary teams, exhibit confidence in managing familiar cases, and act as a strong advocate for both patients and colleagues. Although this position primarily entails practicing autonomously, there may be instances where the individual seeks guidance or mentorship for complex scenarios and faces challenges related to providing coverage across various practice settings.
