A position is available at Cone Health and The Center for Children for a Pediatrician to join their team, which includes 12 Primary Care Pediatricians, 1 Adolescent Health NP, integrated Behavioral Health practitioners, Parent Educators, and a Lactation consultant, all working together to provide exceptional care.
The Tim and Carolynn Rice Center for Child and Adolescent Health is committed to delivering comprehensive healthcare services to individuals aged from birth to 21, encompassing routine check-ups, treatment for sick children, and a wide array of specialized services for children grappling with complex medical and psychosocial challenges. We support a diverse patient population, with families speaking multiple languages. With a team that includes nurses, a lactation consultant, parental educators, care coordinators, and behavioral health professionals, we offer collaborative care to effectively address the needs of our patients and their families.
As part of the UNC Pediatric Residency program, the Center for Children is dedicated to offering evidence-based medical care within a medical home, where residents, medical students, and allied health students receive training and educational opportunities.
With roots tracing back to 1953, Cone Health and Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital have emerged as a prominent 501c(3) not-for-profit healthcare entity, encompassing five major hospitals in Greensboro, NC, and its environs.
