Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge. Working under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Essential Job Function:
- Assesses patient needs and circumstances to administer nursing care in the designated unit, ensuring that each patient receives the necessary and suitable attention.
- Assesses patient records, involving medical history, test outcomes, and present health condition, to establish custom nursing care blueprints.
- Develops nursing activities like giving medications and treatments to offer comprehensive and impactful patient care.
- Confirms that medical records are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Assessing patient responses to treatments and identifying any additional interventions required to fulfill defined care goals.
- Participates in team-based care coordination to ensure optimal patient treatment plans.
- Undertakes supplementary duties as instructed.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
