Job Description
Under direct supervision, the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) VNS delivers excellent nursing care to patients outside traditional medical settings. The RN VNS utilizes their nursing skills to ensure patients achieve optimal results and seeks input from senior management for complex cases. This role involves collaborating with senior management to tackle challenging scenarios and enhance patient care outcomes.
Essential Job Function:
- Assists individuals in their homes or local settings with nursing interventions and treatments aimed at promoting wellness and improving overall health.
- Supports patients in performing daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, administering medications, and other critical responsibilities, to enhance their comfort and security.
- Applies nursing skills to carry out appraisals for recognizing any modifications or potential problems and looks for assistance when required.
- Works alongside interdisciplinary healthcare groups to organize and maximize patient care efficiency, promoting a thorough and integrated strategy.
- Consults with senior leaders and skilled practitioners for advice on navigating demanding situations and complex patient care scenarios.
- Executes any other responsibilities as designated.
Education:
- Required: Associate's Degree.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse and 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
