Overview:
The Administrator at Wesley Long Hospital is responsible for providing strategic guidance and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 175-bed acute care hospital facility. Their primary focus is on achieving set goals and objectives by leading efforts to enhance the quality of care, ensuring patient safety, and upholding compliance with accreditation standards set by regulatory bodies like The Joint Commission and state and federal agencies. The Administrator's leadership style is centered around driving positive change and guaranteeing that exceptional healthcare services are delivered to the local communities. This position involves representing Wesley Long Hospital and Cone Health within the community and in relationships with key partners, reporting directly to the SVP and President of the Greensboro Market.
Responsibilities:
Ensures the successful implementation of business strategies by matching human resource strategies with business requirements, recruiting and nurturing a top-performing leadership group, and fostering a work environment that enhances employee dedication and promotes excellence in performance and customer care while also endorsing diversity
Responsible for overseeing site operations as the administrative leader, which involves tasks such as strategic planning, financial management, ensuring quality patient care, and providing guidance for staff members
Inspires exceptional performance through visionary leadership by fostering performance-driven connections and promoting a culture of responsibility.
Develops and implements the hospital's long-range vision by identifying market demands, establishing strategic objectives, aligning these objectives with value-centered healthcare strategies, and distributing the essential resources to accomplish them.
Establishes a structured framework of supervision and regulations to guarantee the efficient operation of hospital or healthcare system activities, timely goal attainment, and sustains the physical, financial, and personnel resources for viability and triumph.
Cultivates strong and cooperative connections with the medical team, fostering loyalty and enabling the fulfillment of community health requirements while enhancing patient care quality, safety, and satisfaction
Builds solid community connections and establishes cooperative alliances to promote the organization's goals and enhance the welfare of the communities involved.
Ensures adherence to legal, regulatory, and accrediting requirements while serving as the hospital/health system's liaison with various government entities at the local, state, and federal levels.
Acquiring, training, nurturing, and keeping a varied group of individuals to ensure effective and top-notch care for patients, satisfaction among patients, financial success, staff motivation, and physician participation.
Stays up-to-date with all nationwide healthcare initiatives by actively engaging in organizations and pertinent state facility associations. Continuously enhances professional advancement and progress.
Facilitates the execution of successful marketing and communication strategies by collaborating with key marketing stakeholders.
