Job Description
Overview:
The primary function of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to deliver top-notch patient care and ensure favorable patient outcomes by proficiently applying nursing knowledge with empathy and effectiveness. Under general oversight, this role enhances professional nursing practice by organizing patient care through the nursing process and collaborative efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses patient needs and health conditions within the designated area to provide personalized nursing care aimed at meeting individual requirements effectively.
- Evaluates patient data, involving medical background, diagnostic findings, and present condition, to formulate personalized nursing care plans.
- Undertakes nursing techniques such as medication dispensation and therapies to provide comprehensive and proficient patient care.
- Checks and confirms the precision and compliance of medical records with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Analyzing patient responses to interventions and pinpointing any further interventions needed to meet the established care objectives.
- Joins forces with an interdisciplinary team of caregivers to enhance care plan effectiveness.
- Undertakes any additional duties as instructed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred:
1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
