Job Description

Overview:

The Member Solutions Specialist is responsible for handling member transactions and overseeing cash registers to record financial transactions. Working independently, this role supports the daily activities of the company and enhances connections with prospective and current members through high-quality client assistance. This role operates from Monday to Friday, from 7:15am-4:15pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Markets credit union offerings by tailoring them to the specific needs of members identified during discussions, while staying up-to-date on all credit union policies and services.
  • Provides guidance on interest rates, promotes additional services, and aids in the establishment of new share accounts, share draft accounts, and certificates.
  • Assists individuals in filling out paperwork for opening Individual Retirement Accounts and Share Certificates, handles the initiation of new account details, and arranges for the issuance of checks and debit cards.
  • Manages cash register, completes member transactions, and oversees wire transfers.
  • Assisting individuals with finalizing account closures, approving fast cash advances, and establishing payroll allocations.
  • Assists with member questions, reconciles account inconsistencies, and handles complaints while delivering outstanding customer support.
  • Assists clients in resolving account closures and discrepancies, handling quick cash loan requests, and facilitating wire transfers.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 5 years of experience.
