Job Description
In a moderately supervised environment, the Facilities Coordinator arranges the protocols for repairing and upgrading the buildings and utilities of the facility. This role involves assigning maintenance tasks to employees to facilitate the seamless functioning of facility operations, ensuring they align with the hospital's demands.
Essential Job Function
- Compiles progress reports on tasks completed, equipment conditions, and financial outlays, submitting them to the management team to facilitate planning and oversight assessments.
- Engages in verbal and written exchanges with other hospital departments, in tandem with department supervisors, to disseminate important information to stakeholders.
- Manages requests for work orders coming from multiple locations via traditional mail, email, and telephone to delegate tasks effectively.
- Distributes work orders in accordance with set department protocols to tackle urgent tasks first.
- Pinpoints opportunities for improving the repair and renovation procedures of facilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Executes any other responsibilities as designated.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent
Experience
- Required: 3 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Valid Driver's License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management)
