Overview:
To ensure the delivery of efficient healthcare services, the Nursing Technician Float performs responsibilities such as providing bedside care, conducting vitals checks, and administering medicines and treatments to patients, among others.
Responsibilities:
Support the medical team in their efforts to offer direct patient care, from obtaining vital sign measurements to obtaining specimens and helping with routine tasks.
Ensures a safe and hygienic environment for patients by observing infection prevention protocols, replenishing essential provisions, and strategically arranging the rooms according to patient needs.
Records patient details with precision and promptness in electronic medical records, covering essential signs, drugs given, and patient assessments.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to achieve effective dialogue and organization of patient care, and promptly notifies the responsible personnel of any alterations in the patient's condition.
Attends regular training sessions and development programs to keep up-to-date with evolving patient care techniques and procedures.
Maintains compliance with organizational protocols, policies, and procedures to promote patient safety and adhere to regulatory standards.
