Job Description
The essential responsibilities of a Registered Nurse (RN) include administering superior patient care and guaranteeing positive patient results through the proficient and empathetic use of nursing expertise. Essential Job Function:
- Reviews patient needs and conditions within the unit to ensure the delivery of specialized nursing care tailored to individual requirements.
- Scrutinizes patient information, comprising medical history, diagnostic reports, and existing condition, to devise unique nursing care schemes.
- Executes nursing practices such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient support.
- Validates medical records to ensure they meet regulatory standards and organizational regulations.
- Assesses the patient's response to implemented actions and recognizes any additional interventions needed to fulfill the predetermined care goals.
- Collaborates with a cross-functional care team to develop effective care plans.
- Carries out additional assignments as needed.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
