Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patient outcomes through the compassionate and efficient application of nursing knowledge. Working under general supervision, this role promotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Essential Job Function:
- Evaluates patient conditions and needs to deliver nursing care within the assigned unit, guaranteeing that all patients receive the specific and suitable assistance.
- Reviews patient details, which consist of medical background, diagnostic findings, and present health status, to establish tailored nursing care plans.
- Designs nursing processes involving medication administration and treatments to provide holistic and efficient patient care.
- Validates medical records to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Evaluating patient responses to interventions and identifying any further interventions needed to achieve defined care objectives.
- Teams up with a variety of healthcare specialists to develop impactful care strategies.
- Completes tasks outside of regular responsibilities.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
- Required: 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
