Overview:
The Treasury Analyst plays a crucial role in verifying the accuracy of information before investment choices are finalized. This role involves gathering data, conducting investigations, and assessing various types of assets like stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities. Operated with moderate oversight, this role entails the ongoing collection and analysis of data such as corporate financial reports, market trends, currency valuations, and changes in investment returns.
Responsibilities:
Acquires asset assessments and classifications through the documentation of recently procured investments.
Carries out investment transactions by executing trades, liaising with brokers, and overseeing assets in secure banks.
Enhances asset management system by documenting transactions, finalizing cash reconciliation, and integrating with the main accounting records.
Ensures the effective operation of asset management system functions through overseeing accounting, system administration, and system utilities.
Compares security location details and asset records to reconcile financial holdings effectively.
Balances of asset and liability accounts are harmonized through the comparison of general ledger figures with loan portfolios, followed by the examination and investigation of data for resolution of any issues.
Responsible for examining and recording wires and transactions in the general ledger. Also tasked with overseeing and tracking cash movements related to investments. Keep a close watch on our investment performance by monitoring and reporting on gains, losses, revenue, charges, transfers, and other related activities.
Perform thorough bank reconciliations, interact with the OCIO and various investment firms, process funds for capital commitments, establish fresh sites and merchant identification numbers
In charge of handling all matters related to point-of-service concerns, inquiries, and similar issues.
Compile reports for the accounting department detailing the status of investments and the financial health of the system
Executes additional tasks as required.
