Job Description
The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with delivering excellent patient care within a clinic setting, working closely with physicians or APP providers. Under supervision, this role helps maintain a safe and efficient clinic environment through the implementation of well-defined clinical processes and adherence to established protocols. Additionally, the Clinic RN may be involved in administrative tasks as necessary, such as ensuring consistency in information across different healthcare documents, including patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function
- Examines clinical procedures, protocols, and practices to confirm they meet the requirements of both the organization and relevant regulations.
- Delivers direct patient care by carrying out complete assessments, providing medications and treatments, and observing patients' conditions to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Oversees and critiques the duties of subordinate colleagues, furnishing instruction, assessments, and assistance to secure superior care dispensation and professional progression.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to integrate patient care, facilitate effective communication, and maintain care consistency throughout different healthcare contexts.
- Undertakes supplemental duties as instructed.
Education
- Required: Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
