Job Description
Overview:
The primary duty of the RN Per Diem is to provide excellent patient care and apply nursing skills to ensure successful medical treatment and favorable patient outcomes on an as-needed basis. Working closely with supervision, this role collaborates with the healthcare team and seeks advice from seasoned medical experts to handle challenging situations and ensure optimal patient care during designated daily shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Supports in conducting patient evaluations, physical assessments, and treatments to assist in comprehensive and individualized patient care daily.
- Backs the evaluation of patient information to direct healthcare choices, care approaches, and steps taken.
- Collaborates in implementing recommended medical interventions and treatments to secure strict adherence to protocols and boost patient safety.
- Works alongside a varied healthcare team to support communication and align care strategies to benefit patient outcomes.
- Engages with senior medical professionals for guidance and advice on complex patient situations and challenging healthcare circumstances to enhance patient care.
- Executes any other tasks as delegated.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:Required:
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:Required:
1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state;
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
