Job Description
Supports accurate documentation of clinical procedures, patient encounters, and medications to maintain detailed medical records.
Essential Job Function
- Interprets and follows physician instructions to deliver the correct care to the correct patient.
- Manages and verifies the processing, packaging, and distribution of prescriptions.
- Provides and monitors drug utilization and medication-related information to healthcare professionals, patients and the public.
- Supports the supervision and performance evaluation of pharmacy technicians and carries out other clinical duties to aid patient care.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Doctor of Pharmacy or BSPharm
Experience
- Required: 3 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required:Registered Pharmacist in NC within 60 days of hireBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
