Job Description

Overview:

The Senior Business Relationship Manager ITS Project Intake holds a high-ranking position focused on overseeing and cultivating relationships with key leaders within the organization. Their primary objective is to foster collaboration and generate comprehensive insights that can inform both strategic and day-to-day decision-making processes. Collaborating with various departments such as Finance, Operations, and Technology, this individual plays a crucial role in evaluating potential growth opportunities through the prioritization of programs and projects. The SBRM is tasked with managing the intake process and conducting initial evaluations of IT Project proposals, ensuring that they are clearly defined, in alignment with the organization's objectives, and prepared for prioritization and resource allocation.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management and IT governance structures
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools for project intake and portfolio management like ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with Healthcare Electronic Medical Record systems such as Epic or Cerner is essential for working in the healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with information technology (IT) systems, solutions, infrastructure, and terminology is widely recognized

Responsibilities:

Establishes and nurtures solid connections with essential business partners, serving as a reliable consultant and comprehending their long-term goals and obstacles.

Matches IT initiatives and projects with the business strategy to guarantee their alignment with essential objectives and priorities.

Takes charge and supervises the effective execution of ITS projects, which involves outlining project strategies, tracking advancements, and resolving challenges or obstacles.

Works with teams across different functions to make sure that projects are carried out effectively, promoting communication and fostering agreement.

Recognizes chances for enhancing processes and productivity in the IT department, encouraging the use of optimal methods, and assessing the outcomes of projects.

Carries out additional tasks as required.

Required:

  • Master's degree in business administration, market research, math/statistics or related field of study

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 11+ years in a healthcare environment and 8+ years in a business relationship role
