Job Description
The Application Analyst Intermediate offers technical support for advanced clinical and business applications to enhance their functionality and meet the organization's needs. This role operates under moderate guidance, involving tasks such as collecting, analyzing, and assessing user requirements, as well as implementing, improving, maintaining, and troubleshooting clinical and business applications.
Essential Job Function:
- Collaborates closely with internal and external technical and end-user teams to ensure that applications and other external systems satisfy the organization's clinical and business necessities as the system is being developed and put into operation.
- Undertakes comprehensive evaluations of the workflows in end user departments, the collection of data, specifics of reports, and technical challenges affecting design and establishment choices. Engages in intricate qualitative and quantitative assessments of the collected data and information during the process of gathering application requirements.
- comprehends and transforms the business and healthcare functionality into system structure and operations.
- Designs and conducts test script executions for purposes like application, new release, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- - Documents assessment findings, blueprint details, alteration supervision, technical hitches, and operational protocols following departmental criteria.
- Responsible for providing technical support, triage, and troubleshooting for challenging applications, the individual also oversees system monitoring to maintain data quality, efficiency, operation, and integrity, escalating issues when needed.
- Remains knowledgeable about fresh technical principles and resolutions and their relevance to the healthcare industry.
- Supports in the execution and maintenance of external system implementations.
- Delivers the necessary know-how and familiarity to facilitate the smooth integration of all application aspects with other cross-functional software applications employed by the organization.
- Executes any supplementary duties as instructed.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Required: 6 months
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: Valid Driver's License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management)STARR and BLS within 30 days of hire.
