***MUST HAVE IV EXPERIENCE!

In the capacity of a Certified IV Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician II, responsibilities include conducting specialized duties to assist pharmacists in providing secure, efficient, and cost-effective services. With moderate supervision, this position oversees workflow, inventory, billing, and other complex pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

  • The responsibility entails combining IV medications, distinguishing between hazardous and non-hazardous ones, and ensuring their correctness.
  • Documents regulatory responsibilities, encompassing daily and weekly sanitation routines.
  • Helps pharmacists by arranging prescriptions, preparing medications, and labeling them accordingly.
  • Aids in inventory maintenance to secure the availability of equipment for pharmacy staff usage.
  • Offers exceptional customer care to guarantee a positive experience that meets the needs of patients.
  • Undertakes supplementary duties as instructed.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:

  • Pharmacy Technician certification through PTCB or NHA prior to hire
  • Registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
