Overview:
The LPN Hospital, a licensed practical nurse in a hospital environment, assists the Registered Nurse or healthcare professional in delivering excellent patient care. This position involves creating and executing care plans within the hospital, as well as organizing equipment for various procedures throughout the hospital systems, all under the guidance of a supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Assists the healthcare team by gathering patient background and medical details to ensure thorough case record-keeping in hospital documentation.
Assists in creating and executing care strategies under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or healthcare professional to meet the needs of hospitalized patients.
Ensures that the correct procedures and safety measures are followed in compliance with Cone Health regulations concerning sterile environments.
Health care instructions are conveyed to patients and their families to ensure that information is effectively delivered for the care plan.
It is essential to address urgent situations and potential risks by employing protective gear and healthcare protocols to prevent injuries to patients.
