Overview:
The Nursing Secretary - Monitor Technician NT assists the Registered Nurse by carrying out simple care tasks and administrative duties. With supervision, this position observes heart rhythms and notifies the Registered Nurse promptly of any alterations.
Responsibilities:
Helps individuals with daily activities such as bathing and grooming to support in their rehabilitation journey.
Executes regular hourly check-ins to address the requirements of every patient within the unit proactively and attend to requests for assistance.
Supports the Registered Nurse by recording vital signs and promptly communicating any trends or deviations.
Replenishes tools and materials to ensure smooth functioning of the unit on a daily basis.
Dispenses food and supplements to individuals to guarantee they obtain the necessary nutrients according to the care regimen.
Properly identifying and monitoring patients at risk of falling is crucial for reducing the likelihood of patient harm.
Recording patient data, such as logs and tags, to ensure clear and comprehensive communication with medical staff members.
Executes additional responsibilities as required.

Good standing as Nurse Aide I with the North Carolina Division of Facilities Services.
