The primary function of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to provide excellent patient care and ensure successful patient outcomes by applying nursing knowledge with compassion and efficacy. Operating with general guidance, this role promotes professional nursing standards by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Scrutinizes patient needs and health status within the unit to ensure that nursing care is delivered appropriately and in alignment with individual requirements.
Studies patient data, encompassing medical histories, diagnostic outcomes, and present conditions, to craft individualized nursing care plans.
Executes nursing practices, such as administering medications and performing treatments, to deliver comprehensive and beneficial patient care.
Verifies the precision of medical records to ensure they align with regulatory standards and organizational guidelines.
Evaluating how patients respond to interventions and pinpointing any further actions needed to achieve specified care objectives.
Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that care planning meets the needs of patients.
Handles additional responsibilities as instructed.
