Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem provides high-quality patient care and applies nursing knowledge to ensure effective medical care and positive patient outcomes on a per diem basis. While working under close supervision, this role works collaboratively with the healthcare team and seeks guidance from senior medical professionals to address challenging circumstances to ensure optimal patient care on designated daily shifts.
Essential Job Function:
- Supports with clerical duties, record-keeping, and appointment booking for patients to guarantee the efficient running of medical establishments.
- Assists in scrutinizing patient information to guide medical choices, treatment regimes, and actions.
- Participates in executing recommended medical interventions and treatments to uphold protocol adherence and prioritize patient safety.
- Enhances patient outcomes by working with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to facilitate communication and care coordination.
- Consults with senior medical professionals to gain insights and recommendations on complex patient cases and challenging healthcare circumstances to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
- Executing supplementary tasks as directed.
Education:
- Required: Associate's degree in nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
