Job Description
In a clinical environment, the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing excellent patient care in coordination with physicians or APP providers. This role involves upholding well-outlined clinical processes and adhering to established protocols to support the clinic's effectiveness and safety. Furthermore, the Clinic RN may engage in administrative tasks when necessary, such as verifying information in different healthcare documents, including patient records, physician notes, test results, and treatment plans.
Essential Job Function:
- Reviews clinical procedures, protocols, and practices for compliance with organizational standards and regulatory obligations.
- Delivers direct care to patients by conducting thorough evaluations, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patients' well-being to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Supervisors guide and assess the duties carried out by less experienced colleagues, presenting direction, assessments, and assistance to guarantee the delivery of exceptional care and skill enhancement.
- Partners with interdisciplinary groups to align patient care strategies, foster communication flow, and ensure consistent treatment throughout different healthcare settings.
- Undertakes supplementary duties as designated.
Education:
- Required: Associate degree in Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
- Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
