Overview:
Become part of the dynamic team at Sagewell Health & Fitness and play a vital role in enhancing the experiences of members at their new Eden, NC location. The Manager Health and Fitness is tasked with supervising a team of fitness professionals and coordinating the planning and execution of fitness and wellness programs for the clientele of the Medical Fitness Center. This critical position contributes significantly to the center's effectiveness by setting targets, devising strategies, and monitoring staff adherence to operational procedures.
Responsibilities:
Directs and trains a staff of fitness workers, which includes health and fitness experts, teachers, and instructors, by assigning roles, appraising results, and delivering advice.
Formulates and supervises fitness plans, like one-on-one training and collective fitness activities, that are in line with operational aims.
Devising a membership retention approach for the Medical Fitness Center that involves monitoring engagement levels and conducting fitness evaluations for all members to meet financial benchmarks.
Administers an internal system designed to address machine and exercise equipment issues to simplify equipment upkeep and elevate member satisfaction.
Inspires the fitness staff to establish a broad selection of fitness seminars, workshops, and performance-driven fitness programs to increase engagement.
Designs promotional campaigns aimed at maximizing participation in fitness offerings.
Executes any other duties as instructed.

Required:
A nationally accredited certification from a recognized organization or equivalent specialty certification such as ACE, ACSM, AEA, WaterArt, IFTA, AFAA, or Yoga Alliance
BLS/CPR certified by the American Red Cross of AHA Healthcare provder
