Job Description

Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem administers high-quality patient care and applies nursing expertise to facilitate effective medical care and favorable patient outcomes on a per diem basis. While working under supervision, this role collaborates with the healthcare team and seeks advice from senior medical professionals to handle challenging circumstances and ensure optimal patient care during designated daily shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports in executing patient evaluations, physical exams, and treatments to contribute to comprehensive and tailored patient care consistently.
  • Backs the analysis of patient data to inform medical decisions, treatment schemes, and interventions.
  • Assists in the enforcement of recommended medical interventions and treatments to uphold protocols and improve patient safety measures.
  • Assists in facilitating communication and collaboration among healthcare disciplines to drive better patient outcomes through coordinated care.
  • Seeks advice and guidance from seasoned healthcare providers when navigating challenging patient cases and complex medical scenarios to improve patient care quality.
  • Handles supplemental duties as required.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing

Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:

Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
